Roadshow to the great South West

To keep you updated on the Buddies day roadshow idea we talked about some while back: I've been told that the Vincentians out West (Toowoomba Central Council) are keen so if any of your Buddies day leaders are looking for a bit of an adventure "talking up" Buddies days in small towns for a week or so one uni hols let me know and we can do some scheming ... :-)

Is there any idea when in the future of uni hols that this potentially awesome buddies day may occur? Cause even though Jim and I reside up her in the tropical north it would be great to be a part of the experience to see if we can run something similar out to our western towns.

There is no set plans for a roadshow as of yet. I guess I've just been trying to mention the idea to all vollies I meet to try to round up some interest - because it would have to be something that a few somewhat experienced buddies leaders were keen to take significant roles in organising before it could get off the ground. I was planning to bring it up at the Buddies leaders training weekend and if there was a bit of interest we could work on something for mid year hols. It would be great to have some of the Townsville crew involved and then potentially take the model and do the same up north!
Let's keep each other updated on any interest we get or ideas we have!
